Katy helped plan and lead the first ever Turkwel cluster Women’s Seminar in Lodwar. The Turkwel cluster is made up of 12 churches along the Turkwel River that CMF has helped to plant. This was the first time the women leaders from each of those churches have come together for times of teaching, prayers and worship.

It was a wonderful three days in Lodwar at the TBTI facilities. Three women offered teachings to the women: Katy, Ericka Clark (an independent missionary in Lodwar, and Anna Karimojong (a church leader in Lodwar).

It is exciting to see the churches planning more and more events like this one for the women of the churches. Our prayer is for more events like this to follow in the near future in all 5 of our church clusters.

Pray for the Christian Turkana women in each village as they meet together to share their needs, pray and study scripture.
